I'm sure many of you tried this masque and if you didn't, you MUST. Queen Helene is a drug-store
brand and I am sure one of the best drug-store brands out there. This is the cure for zits and
blackheads, believe me! It's great for spot-treatment too, I have used this many times on a random
zit and the next day the zit was almost gone! I use this masque about 3 times a week just to open
up my clogged pores, blame it on too much make-up! I love the the mint feels on my skin it's so cooling
and refreshing. One thing I have noticed though, after using this you must immediately follow with
a moisturizer. It can be a bit drying and you definitely don't want to see flakes on your face, it
happened to me, not a pretty sight. Of course, another reason to love it is because it's very
affordable don't get me wrong I don't EVER use a product because it's cheap, I don't like to take
risks when it comes to my skin/face. It's just that I'm very happy with the product and even happier
with the price $3.99 for 8 oz. :)

I was reading an issue of Glamour recently, when I came across an ad for Maybelline Dream Liquid
Mousse Foundation — with a tear-out card containing tiny samples of not one, but ALL their
shades. Way to go, Maybelline! This is the way to get people to try a foundation (who wants to buy
when they’re not sure of their shade match?). And naturally my thoughts turned to swatching.

Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation is a medium coverage, dewy-finish foundation that’s supposed
to provide air-brushed looking coverage. (Its matte-finish counterpart is Maybelline’s potted Dream
 Matte Mousse.)

Dream Liquid Mousse is oil-free, fragrance-free, derm-tested, allergy-tested, non-comedogenic,
good for all skin-types (including sensitive), won’t clog pores, and does your laundry. It’s ~$8.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle
3 Minute Miracle is a great deep conditioner and especially coming from the drugstore it's pretty
darn good! I don't use it after every shampoo, perhaps once every two weeks or whenever I feel like my
hair needs a little pick-me-up. It leaves hair totally smooth, untangled and soft. It also smells like
 coconuts, yum!
Kerastase Bain Miroir Shampoo - Sample
This was just a little sample from the May Birchbox. Yeah I just got around to using it :) I
initially thought it would only last me one shower session but I was wrong. A small amount of this
shampoo lathers up quite good. So it took me a few showers to finish it up. It's a great product,
has a light scent and leaves hair squeaky clean. I just don't know if I'd want to pay
$30+ for a shampoo.

Let’s face it. This is without a doubt meant to a high street version of Stilas Convertible Colour,
and because it is a high street product, I am happy to say it is actually not that different
AT ALL to Stilas, except for maybe a saving of £10.

I love blusher, blusher is my thing that I truly indulge in. I currently have about fifty, but I only
actually wear about six out of that fifty. It’s tricky finding a good blush. The blushers I get really
excited about is cream blusher, well, cream, gel, liquid, anything that leaves your skin dewy and
fresh and shiny, supermodel-esque, I’m not so hot on the matte stuff (in general as well, I think it’s
because I have dry skin so like to make my skin look deceptively oily). Anyway, when Max Factors
Creamy Blush came out, after much testing on the back of my hand I decided it looked promising
enough and purchased one in Soft Pink, a bright candy pink.

The first few times I wore it, I have to admit I wasn’t that impressed. I found it cloggy and short
lasting, and in the end would use another blusher product on top to remedy it. However, when I tried
it again to take some pics for this review, I have completely changed my mind.

Application
As you see it comes in tiny round pot which has great mobility value, you could easily tuck this
in a jean pocket if you didn’t want to take a big bag out. Application is pretty simply, I would work a
fair bit of the product onto my finger and then dab it onto my cheeks; if you rub this product it into
your cheeks you risk messing up your foundation so I’d advise dabbing. If you wear powder then
you’d apply powder after this, and obviously skip the cheeks as it’ll make the blusher go gross
and cloggy!

It certainly felt very similar to the Stilas Convertible Colour, only just ever so slightly thicker
in consistency. It gave my cheeks a gorgeous pop of colour with a crazy amount of dew, I LOVED how
it looked. Admittedly, it does get cloggy depending on how much you put on, and once you put it on you
had to be careful not to touch it as it doesn’t seem to set, so you could easily ‘scrape’ a bit off by
accident (hmm, nice thought!). But that aside, I was impressed.

After wearing it for a while I noticed that it does wears off quite easily, I would have to reapply
very often, but reapplying was easy and I found you could still add more without it looking cakey,
however when it started to wear off on me, it highlighted my pores in doing so which isn’t ideal! Once
you topped it up the problem was fixed, but you’ll probably need to check your make-up every couple
of hours or so, if not before. Also, I wouldn’t recommend this product if you have acne or are prone to
spots, it will certainly high light them and most likely aggravate as well, sorry.

Verdict
In comparative to Stila Convertible Colour it is both better AND worse. With The Stila Convertible
Colour out of my three shades that I own, I found only one worked amazingly, and the others seemed
to made of a completely different formula. So the one shade of Stilas that would be in direct
competition with Max Factors Soft Pink is Petunia, one of the not so good convertible colours. Thus
unsurprisingly, I prefer the Max Factor one, as it more pigmented, and you can build up the colour
depth more easily. Also, I will have to test this properly as I haven’t worn my Stila one for a while,
but despite the Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush being short wearing, it was longer wearing
than Stilas Convertible Colour in Pertunia! So if I was to choose which to wear out of the two, I’ll be
heading down the Max Factor Creamy Blush route definitely.

The cons against Max Factors Creamy Blush is that it is thicker than Stilas Convertible Colour,
and while that’s great for colour and shine, it also means it will get cloggy and ‘sit’ on the skin. The
Stila Convertible Colour definitely feels better on the skin and does that a lot less, and at the end of
the day, you are paying for better ingredients. But all in all, I’m really liking these Max Factor
blushers, and for a mere £7, over £10 less than Stilas, I’d recommend you try these out. Oh, and
another thing! These are great on the lips too (check pics below), really moisturising, far better than
the Stila ones are! I’m pretty certain I will be purchasing more shades, I’ll let you know how I get on.
Some pics of me wearing it!

Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion, SPF 30 4 fl oz (118 ml) $8.99(RM58).
The price is lower at US$7.19 now.

If you're looking for an everyday sunscreen to wear under your BBcream or alone, then this is the
perfect sunscreen for you I bet! I hate sunscreen, and shame to tell that I never apply extra
Sunscreen before my makeup as I always telling (cheating on) myself that my BBcream already
contains SPF. Although I love to have slightly tanned skin and will have sun bathing once the there's
beautiful sunshine, but as I am not 16 or 18 anymore, I slowly realize that sunscreen is true to be too
important if you don't want wrinkles, dark spots or skin uneven condition when you're getting 30! Finally
i hit up this awesome little Eucerin Sunscreen. Why? Because it's non-greasy at all!!!
Thin, moisturizing, but not waterproof which I don't really mind. I apply before my BBcream and it
provides the perfect base to my makeup. I don't makeup everyday, when I don't, I wear only sunscreen
alone. It does give my face a glowy (but not greasy) look. Bear in mind that it leaves slight white
cast (but disappears when it absorbed quickly).

Not too thick or too watery. Just perfect to spread out on face!

I have sensitive and combination skin. I've been using this for about 1 week and it never broke me out
or irritated my skin. Everyone knows, Eucerin has a good reputation for sensitive skin. I also love the
pump packaging and the carry-along designed bottle. Most heart catching, it is scentless, even a
little scented to you, it is the very very light SPF smell.

All and all, this is a great bargain moisturizer sunscreen that is (to me), better than those
other expensive products. Now, this is a staple in my every morning face routine.
Would definitely repurchase it! I think I will get mad if this is ever discontinued!!! LOL

e.l.f Studio Blush - Candid Coral   VS  NARS Blush Orgasm

e.l.f. Candid Coral Blush beats NARS Orgasm Blush in color...and price!

I love e.l.f. products. The items are mind-blowingly cheap and have surprisingly good quality. Many
of the items even make great dupes for more expensive makeup products, which is a bonus in my book.
So when I picked up e.l.f.'s Studio Powder Blush in Candid Coral at my local Target for only $3,
I had high expectations for it. And this light coral blush definitely does not disappoint.

It is a finely milled blush that has just the right pigmentation; it isn't too heavy and allows for
buildable color. It is a light coral pink shade with a slight golden sheen to it so it makes for a great
everyday blush- no highlight required! Any product that saves a step in my daily makeup routine
becomes a holy grail product for me. I apply this blush with my Essence of Beauty Blush brush
and it distributes the perfect amount of color on my cheeks leaving a subtle highlight where
the sun would naturally shine on my high cheekbones giving my face a soft glow. It just gives your
face a little bit of color without going overboard.

I had read many beauty blogs that compared this blush to NARS Orgasm, so of course, I had to do
the comparison myself. And I have to say, while yes, the color does come rather close (although not
exactly the same), I actually prefer the e.l.f. blush. Orgasm is more of a pink shade than coral and has
more of a chunky shimmer than its cheaper counterpart. Candid Coral has a golden sheen as opposed
to thick gold shimmer. This makes it a much better everyday blush, especially since it saves you
quite a few more bucks- $22 less to be exact .
NARS Orgasm (on left) and e.l.f. Candid Coral (on right)

So if you have a chance to pick up this blush, I recommend you try it. I mean, it is only $3.
So you really can't go wrong. And I promise you won't be disappointed.

After my nails are completely dry, I use my Sally Hansen Nails & Cuticles Hand Creme.
It's amaze!
